Europe deserves less: less cost, less disruption, less waste with RTP

IPL Schoeller is part of the RCTP (Roundtable for Reusable Containers and Pallets), representing Europe’s reusable transport packaging industry in EU policy. 

Through the “Europe deserves less” campaign, RCTP highlights the strategic role of Reusable Transport Packaging (RTP), often described as Europe’s hidden infrastructure, in keeping supply chains running efficiently.  

The message is clear: less cost, less supply chain disruption, less waste. 

RTP, such as reusable pallets, crates, and containers, is not just packaging. It is a proven, scalable system already operating across industries, helping businesses reduce costs, limit supply chain disruption, and minimise waste while supporting a more circular economy. 

As the EU develops the Circular Economy Act, recognising reuse systems like RTP will be key to strengthening both sustainability and competitiveness.
